When submitting content(development article, tip,forum post, video, etc.) to our web site you earn Geek Points. When someone votes with more than two starts for your post you also earn Geek Points.

Development ArticlesEach submitted article gives you 100 Geek Points.
Each time when a person votes for your post with 3 stars you earn +1 Geek Points.
Each time when a person votes for your post with 4 stars you earn +2 Geek Points.
Each time when a person votes for your post with 5 stars you earn +3 Geek Points.
Each submitted article gives you 50 Geek Points.
Each time when a person votes for your post with 3 stars you earn +1 Geek Points.
Each time when a person votes for your post with 4 stars you earn +2 Geek Points.
Each time when a person votes for your post with 5 stars you earn +3 Geek Points.
Each submitted video gives you 5 Geek Points.
Video content cannot be voted currently.
ForumEach Forum post gives you 2 Geek Points.
Each Forum post which is marked as answer gives you 10 Geek Points.
Example
Lets say that a user TestUser has submitted an article: "Test WP7 Article".
The article has been rated with 5 stars by 1 person and with 3 by 2 people.
The result is as follows:
Points earned by TestUser for the "Test WP7 Article":
"Test WP7 Article" submission = 100 points
1 user voted
= 1 x 3 points = 3 points
2 users voted
= 2 x 1 point = 2 points
Total: 100 points + 3 points + 2points = 105 points
How to exchange my Geek Points?
You can exchange your Geek Points for cells on the App Wall, where you can put your applications. When considering how many cells you need for your app you must have in mind the following simple formula:
